Crescent Super Band to Perform at 2021 Telluride Jazz Festival
The Downbeat® Award–winning Crescent Super Band will once again be featured on the main stage of Colorado’s Telluride Jazz Festival on August 14, 2021. Joining the band for the performance will be GRAMMY®–winners Poncho Sanchez and Francisco Torres.
Located in the legendary outdoor venue in the mountain town, the festival celebrates the cultural tradition, modern styles and cutting edge progression of the American Jazz art form delivering an aesthetic experience. For three days and nights concert goers are treated to jazz, funk, soul, folk and gospel. The historical mining town of Telluride sits nestled in a scenic box canyon at 8,750 feet, surrounded by 13,000 foot peaks, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.
No strangers to the long-running jazz festival, this will be the band’s fifth appearance at the event. This year’s festival will also feature the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Christian Sands, the Hot Sardines, and more!
