OUR STORY
A Revolutionary Model for Music Training
In November of 1998, while still a college student, Caleb Chapman designed a ground-breaking music performance training program in American Fork, Utah. Housed in a tiny brick building, the Soundhouse quietly launched with a handful of instructors and young musicians.
From those humble beginnings, the Soundhouse has grown into the national leader in music performance training. The lives of thousands of musicians have been transformed through our proven model of using excellence in music performance to foster excellence in life performance. Today, the Soundhouse is the nation’s most award-winning music program for musicians ages 10-18, spanning a wide range of contemporary genres including rock, jazz, soul, reggae, ska, blues, and more!
For over 25 years Soundhouse has been synonymous with excellence. Since our launch, virtually every graduating senior has received college scholarship offers, and collectively, our alumni receive an average of over $1 million in scholarship offers each year. Many are now part of successful bands, including chart-toppers like Imagine Dragons, The Moth & The Flame, and Mondo Cozmo, while others lead impressive careers in various fields such as business, law, medicine, and technology.
