Nick Petty is a multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has deeply studied the guitar through many genres and holds a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production from Berklee College of Music in Boston. He has performed around the world and toured the US with artists including David Archuleta and Nathan Pacheco.

Nick writes and produces music with his family band Petty Plus and other artists throughout the US. As a full-time teacher at the Salt Lake School for Performing Arts, Nick teaches Guitar, Music Theory, and Composition/Songwriting in an academic setting while also a member of the adjunct faculty at Snow College, teaching private lessons and directing ensembles.
