Rashawn Ross of the Dave Matthews Band to Join in Scholarship Effort

Superstar member of the Dave Matthews Band, Rashawn Ross, will be joining other celebrities (announced in the upcoming weeks) in support of raising scholarship funds for Utah musicians by recording with the Crescent Super Band on their forthcoming album, “High Hopes”. Ross, a frequent guest and collaborator of the Soundhouse, has previously recorded with the award-winning band on “The Inside of the Outside” and appeared with them at multiple festival performances, including the Jazz Education Network International Conference in New Orleans.

Ross has compiled an amazing resume of credits in a wide-range of styles including rock, jazz, funk, hip hop, r&b, soul, latin, pop, calypso, and more. In addition to a long tenure with the Dave Matthews Band (beginning in 2005), his touring credits include some of the biggest names in music including Stevie Wonder, Usher, Lettuce, Yerba Buena, and many others.

“High Hopes” will be released in summer of 2021. Additional guest artists will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
